The shrimp, albeit few, in the shrimp Blackened Prawn Burrito were fresh-tasting and good. The burrito itself was good-sized. The 1/2 Pint Salsa Roja was the worst salsa I have ever had in my entire life. It tastes like Campbell's tomato soup - literally. So gross. It's not even spicy. It's like a can of pureed tomatoes.

We ordered the chicken fajitas and the fish tacos. The tacos had no flavor whatsoever and the fajitas was basically just rice and bell peppers, had barely any chicken at all. For the price, we were very disappointed.

This was legitimately the worst tortilla soup I've ever had. It's not seasoned, it's thin, there's no cheese in it; it's essentially a chicken noodle soup with tomatoes.
The fries and churros were forgettable.
Save your money.

Everything is amazing at Joe's Taco Lounge! In fact I've been lucky enough to enjoy it for over 30 years. It's hard to pick out my favorites, but some include but don't exclude the entire menu!! Black bean soup is scrumptious, carnitas burrito hits the spot and provides great naps/sleep. Popcorn shrimp fun, the salads and apps rock along with the many many different salsas and hundreds of hot sauces that line the walls. You won't be disappointed!
