This really hit the spot today. Everything was warm, well seasoned, even the calamari was still crispy and warm. Moist Bourbon Glazed King Salmon, and sweet White Chocolate Bread Pudding still warm with all the fixings. So glad I treated myself tonight!

1) Kids Fish and Chips - inedible. Arrived literally swimming in a pool of grease. French fries were limp, pale and extremely undercooked. Did not receive any sides, as described. Did not receive brownie. Would have received better fruit from a Motel 6 continenti breakfast.
2) Braised Short Ribs - meat was confusingly dry throughout, with what appeared to be a turkey gravy - definitely not the promised red wine sauce and definitely not an appropriate amount. Meat was flavorless, although the (wrong) sauce was tasty. Carrots had a nice bite, but once again: zero seasoning. Everything lacked the juicy depth of flavor normally associated with this dish. I'm going to pick out the choice bites and turn the rest into a soup. Mashed potato side was delicious and extremely generous portion - far more potatoes than meat in this dish.
3) Garlic Mashed Potatoes - I'm saving these for later, but for $9, you're getting a scoop that looks to be about 6-8 oz. Tasty, but that's very expensive!
I spent almost a day's wages treating myself and got slightly more than 1 meal's worth of mediocre food... I would consider Lake Chalet to be a huge waste of money. Maybe the charm lies in eating at the actual restaurant...?

Only two carrots came with the braised, SMALL amount of mashed potatos- super disappointing for $30. The salad is disproportioned with too much lettuce, very little dressing.
Dont reccomend ordering door dash from Lake Chalet- I likely won't ever again. In person, the experience is nice at the restaurant, but take out is TRASH.

We were hoping for a nice V-day dinner. When the food arrive the tuna salad had 4 small pieces of tuna (I actually weighed them and it was less than 2 oz.) and the fish and chips were all soggy. We love Lake chalet when we go visit and this was disappointing.

Terrible food! The side salad had wilted lettuce. I also got the full crab which was dry inside and had a weird taste to it. The corn and potatoes that came with the crab were terrible as well and not edible. Will never order from here again.
