These bookies turned out to be better at slinging pizza than running numbers, and Luigi's Pizza Shop established itself as Sacramento's oldest original pizza parlor.
Luigi's Pizza Parlor's traditions …
Luigi's has the best homemade ranch. Their meats are well seasoned. Best sausage I've had on a pizza.
Love everything about this place. It's a little expensive but the quality is well worth it. My favorite pizza place in sac.

Absolutely delicious! We are from the Midwest and have been craving quality cracker crust pizza since moving here, and it seems like we found it. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, and the cheese/sauce ratio is perfect. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know!

spaghetti bolognese had virtually no meat. and the mediocre sauce did not make up for it. i've had better sauce from Prego. i literally tasted one tiny morsel of meat. it was smaller than a pea, and im not exaggerating.

Really incredibly excellent pizza! And I'm a super tough critic! Their medium pizza is either enormous or they upgraded me as a first customer. This pizza tastes just like the old school kind my dad made at his pizzeria when I was young. I couldn't be happier and maybe found my favorite Sacramento pizza spot. I couldn't afford to order The Boulevard which would have been my first choice, but the Build Your Own at 30% off was a great way to get acquainted. I did sausage, onion and mushrooms. Compliments to the chef!!! And kudos to excellent delivery specialist!

I usually like this spot despite the regular lengthy wait time, but the value for the price paid is not quite there anymore. I ordered the "mama mia" appetizer plate and it was a total disappointment for the price paid. 22 bucks for 3 small mozzarella sticks, 4 wings, two half sized slices of pizza (so one full slice?), and four breadsticks sucked. The wings were the highlight of that combo, everything else was pretty mid.
I will say; The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich (12.50 bucks at time of order) was great. I would recommend just getting two of those and skipping the appetizers because they really aren't worth it and you'll probably be way more satisfied with those.
