Chicken Curry was absolutely amazing. This will be my go to for Japanese takeout on the main line. The Korokke (Croquette) were extremely good with the tonkatsu sauce. 5/5, 10/10. Also I got the Ramune and all of that food only totaled roughly 700 calories and it fills you up in a way where you dont feel heavy after.

Chicken Curry was good but there was only 2 pieces of chicken in the whole thing. I paid for extra rice but didn't receive it. the Tempura shrimp was tasty but the veggies were undercooked and not very tasty. the crockets were fine. the Miso Soup was delicious but container was only half filled. As a whole, I probably won't order again for the price I paid($50). Not worth was I received.

Food here is always excellent. I've ordered from them many times and never been disappointed. The chicken curry is delicious, the tempura is always on point (light and crispy, and the veggies are always a nice variety). Only (minor) complaint was that the ramune was off the shelf and room-temperature rather than refrigerated and cold when delivered.

Maido is truly a gem to Delco and the Philly region. This is the place I come for all my authentic Japanese groceries and a bite of takeout. The employees are very friendly and sweet, and the food is always delicious and ready for you in record speed. I love Maido because it's centered around products from only Japan and I can get my miso paste here. This is compared to HMart that focus on stocking more items from Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, etc and not so much from Japan. Grateful to Maido!! ♡♥︎

We drive over an hour from a different state nearly every weekend to dine here. This is the best, most authentic Japanese food I've ever had, and the partnership with Suzuki Farms is the best, if only for the kabocha and sweet potatoes. , With the pandemic, this is the only restaurant we've felt comfortable in.
