the whole peppered grilled tilapia is a wonderful addition to the Divine menu!! Divine flavored catering is my go to for Naija food in NYC. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the gizzard dodo portion is very small.

Please avoid! Worst Rice Des legumes (Fried Rice).VEGAN and Asun (Peppered Chargrilled Goat Meat) I've ever had. From the packaging in a drab black paper bag to the asun half-filled with large bones to make the bowl look full (see pictures). That portion for $23.45 is a rip-off! The rice was salty (never seen a salty fried rice) and the asun was saltier and dry! One whole chunk of the asun was burnt and tasted bitter of course and I had to set it aside. I had a work meeting in the city and wanted to do a taste of Nigeria. I even recommended to a colleague when I found one but had to ask her to cancel. I was utterly disappointed! My friend ordered from Fogo de Chao for about the same amount and the difference is clear! I regretted it.

I usually love this place. Only Nigerian restaurant for a while but come on, this small container (only filled halfway) was $19.55!! This was my only order too and they couldn't fill it all the way and most of it is onions! I'm not sure I would order the suya. The portion size is insane for the price. Not worth it.

I didn't see any mushrooms in the champignon platano stew. The picture online shows whole mushrooms, and the description says they're chopped. Maybe they were chopped so small I couldn't see them? Anyway, the flavor is great and I was happy with it. We ordered both the less spicy one and the more spicy one. I preferred the spicy one. It wasn't too spicy, just a really nice heat. I've had other dishes from here before that were excellent as well.

Definitely could've been better the fufu tasted spoiled and these are the tiniest pieces of meat in the obongo.
