I'm a regular here and the things I appreciate most are how consistently good the chicken and other food is, the different options they have, and the price! There are too many fried chicken places out there with crazy inflated prices but this spot is always worth it to me.
8 CK (4L, 4T) Fried chicken is crunchy and juicy with good spice. Not overly salted and still good when reheated
Jambalaya Rice [Regular Size]
One of my go to sides, it's got a nice herby flavor and salted well without going overboard

I LOVEEEE THIS STORE! my go-to chicken place. Super crispy, tasty, warm. Gravy is super nice. I always get their 8 Spicy CK (3L, 3T, 2W) with their Mash Potato and Gravy [Large]. My favorite place in SD!

4 Spicy Tenders These tenders are like the size and thickness of a breast lol. Doesn't work for me. Seasoning was nothing special and about as "spicy" as mayo. Salt and pepper wings are actually a joke and not real s&p wings.

The rice is very dry and almost gummy after chewing. The chicken is completely dry and after chewing it feels almost chalky. The rice looks old and taste old. There is really flavor which is something you expect from creole food or even just Cajun. There was exactly 3 small nuggets? Or small pieces or chicken in the bowl itself. Poor quality, poor portions. Would not order again.

Perfectly crispy. The chicken was so tender. I always have a good experience ordering chicken from here! The portion size is great, and the chicken is freshly fried every time!
