Every month they rotate new specials, but the gem of the place are the broth-based dishes in my opinion, they offer 16hr broth dishes which are why I'm always coming back. My usual starts with BBQ Fishball 5 Pieces so good for a few ppl as an appetizer (or 1 if u love them like I do), and the Dragon Hot Soup 麻辣烫 which is one of the broths I mentioned. It has some delicious mushrooms in them that look like oysters and I love noodles they serve but they do not taste nearly as good as in person . Prices for entrees avg $14 and portions are great. That being said, the service can be very inconsistent since they seem to have a lot of students working there that graduate or go on break, but to me the food makes it all worth it. dog friendly too as Ive seen the guy with his 2 pups there a few times"

"My family and I wanted to cry after taking our first bites from Tastebudz Creole Kitchen! The jerk oxtail was absolutely incredible, and the red beans and rice, mac and cheese, corn, and collard greens were all seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Every single bite was packed with flavor and had us savoring every mouthful. It truly felt like comfort food made with love. Everything was delicious from start to finish!

"Honestly, I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately, our experience wasn’t what we expected. The food didn’t look quite like the pictures, and some of the dishes were disappointing.
The mac and cheese didn’t really look or taste like mac and cheese to us, and the steak looked more like ground beef. I wouldn’t have minded that if the flavor had been there, but unfortunately, it was just way too salty. The elote was also inconsistent, about half of it was bland, while the rest seemed to be doused in butter. The rice was very mushy, and we only had about 5–6 pieces of shrimp in the dish.
This was our first time trying their food, and I hate being a Debbie Downer because I know everyone’s taste is different. I also probably should have read more reviews beforehand. That said, for $50+ almost $60, I was expecting a different experience. I’m glad we gave it a try, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t a meal we really enjoyed. I'm sure other dish items on their menu taste wonderful and I know they probably work very hard and put their heart's into making these meals. I'd probably in the future order something else. But for today our rating stands at a solid 3/10."

"After several years of patronage and over 50+ total orders, I'm officially done with this place. The chicken is always char grilled well, but the portion sizes remain wildly inconsistent. Today, I ordered the chicken shawarma requesting no lettuce and no tomatoes. This is what I received - a soggy pita with TWO pieces of chicken. TWO. Beyond egregious, bordering on offensive. I've ordered this menu item 34 times because I crave it. But only about 50% of the time were the portions reasonable. The managers need to implement better quality control measures. Joke's on me for giving so much benefit of doubt.
But save yourself the time and trouble and just go elsewhere. I recommend Mika's Greek on Thomas or Nino's Greek on 16th St -- both are consistently leaps and bounds better in quality and quantity for the price than Nick's. "
