I am typically not the type to leave a 1-star review, but we were so very disappointed with our meal. I got the turkey dinner and what I received was subpar at best. Two things slices of what looked and tasted like deli meat atop soggy, mushy, flavorless stuffing smothered in brown gravy. The mashed potatoes advertised as included in the meal are in fact NOT included. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and was very upset to see they had smothered his food in brown gravy rather than the traditional (and photo advertised) country gravy. My boys got cod and salmon, and while they said it tasted ok, the portions were so small, I ended up having to cook them another meal. I hope that the restaurant can use this feedback constructively. First and last time ordering from The Chalet.

Not close to what ive been used to from
This restaurant. There was no turkey in my chef salad, and the baked potato was just dry with no butter, no toppings, no nothing. It was just dumped into a to go box with zero consderation for the client. The steak also wasnt seasoned nor cooked to order. I want this local restaurant to succeed, but management needs to oversee what is happening.

I dine in and order from here pretty regular. This order was disappointing. The biscuits were burnt (not a little, but A LOT). If I was at the restaurant, I would have asked to have it remade. The cinnamon roll came dry to the bone with no icing. I've ordered these before and know this is not the usual outcome.

The steak is unseasoned. It was cooked perfectly to my desires, and had a great texture, but had almost no flavor. Eggs were also unseasoned. The hashbrowns were pretty good. It was acceptable overall but I won't be ordering again.
