"I ordered the Mixed Shawarma Hummus Bowl Platter ( Dinner ) & Baba Ghannouj Dip. Unfortunately, I received a Rice Bowl in error. I'm currently on a low-carb diet, so I was totally bummed since I can't eat the rice! I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and was extremely impressed with Pita Kabob's customer service. The employee I spoke with apologized, refunded my payment, and advised me to place a replacement order. Since I'm really hungry, I've been picking pieces of meat out and nibbling at the veggies as I wait for my new order... this food is REALLY good! The lamb & chicken has great flavor with a perfect texture - obviously fresh and not dried out at all. The Baba Ghannouj Dip is probably the best I've tasted. Since I was really looking forward to my hummus dish, I'm waiting until it arrives so I can enjoy everything together as intended, but this is so good it's making it very difficult! I've never ordered from here until tonight; I'm eating later than usual so I just chose a place that was open and had chicken with hummus - I was pleasantly surprised to see this mixed dish with both chicken and lamb. I'm honestly kinda thankful my usual place was closed because it led me to discovering Pita Kabob Grill! Nobody's perfect and all humans make mistakes, so I'm not even upset about the incorrect item since it's been corrected with no problems. I will definitely continue ordering from here!

"I got the -Detroit Lunchbox and -Pita Way Bowl via pickup. Doordash only allows a limited number of toppings unfortunately. Even without the toppings this is expensive, but I thought, let's try it anyway.
The price of these two items alone exceeds 30 USD but the Taste-to-Price ratio is too low. It isn't mind-blowing, it's an average shawarma and is expensive for what it offers. The dark meat chicken is Juicy, but the sandwiches didn't have much sauces inside it making it feel quite bland. I like picked cabbage, but this one had a different flavor that somehow didn't go along with the rest of the ingredients. The rice in the bowl just doesn't do it - its small grained and lumped unlike the long-grained basmati that is typical of middle-eastern quick eats. The sandwich is probably only worth $6, and the bowl about $5 in terms of quality and quantity. It's mid at most."

"I was a huge fan of GotBurger for many years, so I was very excited to hear they had rebranded as Shawarmix and was eager to try their food again. Thankfully, the Mozzarella Sticks and Onion Rings tasted exactly as I remembered. My main disappointment was with the Mushroom Burger , which was always my go-to order at GotBurger. While the burger itself was fine, something was noticeably different. The beef had a tougher texture, and the classic GotBurger seasoning seemed to be missing. I can’t pinpoint exactly what changed, but the burger definitely didn’t have the same quality or flavor that I was always fond of. My recommendation to the new Shawarmix/GotBurger management would be to bring back whatever brand of ground beef and seasoning were used previously at GotBurger. If those two things can be restored, I think Shawarmix will have no problem living up to its beloved predecessor."
