"I ordered The Horchata Donut and The Churro donut as well as a Salted Caramel Iced Latte. People seem to enjoy them and they look amazing but herein lies the lesson that looks are often deceiving, as I found it all incredibly lacking. The horchata donut was soggy and wet in the middle ( I initially thought it was undercooked and raw) and the meringue was gritty and cloyingly sweet—like hurt my stomach, nearly inedible sweet—and it fell off in one piece. The Valrhona Caramélia on the bottom was thick and waxy, almost like almond bark. The donut by itself was almost savory and tasted nothing like horchata. The churro donut was okay, kind of lackluster to be honest and the whipped dulce de leche filling was salty and heavy—I kept having to check the description because I was convinced it was just straight butter.
