"ABSOLUTELY amazing Caribbean Cuisine! The Kolashanpan is a taste of "home" that I had been looking everywhere for! An standard for every comfort meal, the Tostones were to die for. I HAD to order 2! Riceflour Pupusa was 100% a perfect flavor and perfectly balanced filling. 2 Gorditas were bursting with flavor and generous filling. No Caribbean meal would be complete without Curtido extra (gotta eat your veggies!), which was a perfect palet cleanser accoutrements to this delicious meal. Of course the Horchata Salvadoreña drink wrappes up the whole meal divinely. This Restaurant clearly takes Pride in providing flavorful and filling meals for their Customers."

"The tacos were good but small. Incredibly small.
The bean was well flavored and found it quite tasty with the rice.
Overall I am impressed with this restaurant... takes a lot of guts to charge that much for so little."

"I cleared the other two earlier, my fault, but these were so heavenly; I need the consommé injected into me. "Al-Bo’s Eurocafe-Bakery in Grand Rapids, MI, offers a delightful dining experience that transports you straight to Eastern Europe. Their bean soup is a standout, delivering rich and hearty flavors that warm the soul. The sarma, featuring tender cabbage leaves stuffed with a savory blend of ground beef and rice, is a testament to their commitment to authentic cuisine. Beyond these dishes, the menu boasts a variety of traditional offerings, including Burek, a cheese and bread dish made with phyllo dough, and the Mixed Grill, which showcases a selection of grilled meats. The warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with attentive service, makes Al-Bo’s a must-visit for anyone seeking genuine Eastern European flavors in Michigan."

"Dirty Chai is lovely!! And the parmesan Cream spread is to die for!"
"Hot honey Chicken Hot Honey Wrap was decent but not at all worth $15. I don't think it contained everything it said it would or if it did there was so little of it I couldn't tell, pretty much just chicken, cheese and sauce. The Perfect Egg bagel sandwich didn't come with half the stuff on it that it was supposed to so hard to say how good it could be but either way there's no way a sandwich that small could be worth 12.50. And the chicken Caprese Panini was much smaller than expected for the price, had literally one cherry tomato on it cut in half and did not have any balsamic vinaigrette on it, sad excuse for sourdough and barely toasted. It was basically just cheese(and a lack of it) and arugula so also not worth 12.50. The Matcha Latte was decent, not great but passable, but it's 6.00 for what I think was 12oz so also not at all worth it. I would not order from here again."

"This. Place. Rules! I had the basic cod Cod Basket and even though being delivered, the batter was light and crispy, the fish perfectly cooked, meaty and flaky.
SOOO many places get a simple fish & chips dish completely wrong. Frozen fish, overly breaded - that gets soggy instantly.
We need to shout out the few places who do things right. Fresh food, high end ingredients, perfectly cooked. This is the way."
"I saw this place had good reviews and ordered expecting some classic fried fish, and was pretty dissapointed. As you can see it looked nothing like the photos and wasnt even actual full pieces of cod...just nuggets? They also werent remotely crispy despite being still being hot. The coleslaw was also not for me. On the other hand, the hushpuppies and onion rings were very good. Id potentially try them again someday but for $20 this was not it. "

Puerco / Pork tamales are HUGE! Amazing bang for your buck! Full of meat, although sometimes have large pieces of fat I pick out, but the meat and esp the MASA are seasoned extremely well!"
"Pros: food is delicious. Asada is seasoned and cooked very well. The horchata came with no ice so you get moneys worth, and the quesadilla was especially cheesy and packed with meat.

He too, absolutely loved them. The curtido was fantastic as well. The flavor was perfect and took me back to a trip I had in Honduras. This will be my new spot in Grand Rapids for pupusas. You absolutely must order these!"

"Second time ordering the PERFECT CHEESESTEAK (I) and its more flavorful the second time around. Ordered w the side of dijon mustard. Super simple but yummy"
"Every items I ordered was terrible. The falafels were OVER dry in every way and the vegetables with them were dry like it has been sitting in a cooling fridge for days. There are some really authentic Greek food restaurants in GR. This is NOT one. They miss the mark in every way. The grape leaves were tiny, tasteless, and also dry. "

"I got the Chile Relleno (2) , Rice & Beans and the Sopapillas. Everything was excellent! The Chile Rellenos were very flavorful. Oftentimes, I've found at other restaurants, all I can taste is that it's spicy, but there isn't a ton of flavor. That is not the case with El Agave's version. The rice and beans were also very tasty and satisfying. The Sopapillas were the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Just the right amount of sweetness."
"absolutely love this place! they always treat me so well and remember me everytime I come. when I doordash it's always still warm. the horchata is so flavorful without getting any Floaties( rice partials)."

"I don't ever leave reviews but this might genuinely be some of the best food I've ever had. I got Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and the portions are INSANE! I added goat and the bowl literally has to weigh at least 5lb. The white sauce was majestic and the food was fresh and piping hot.

"Det är bra! The large latte I got seems to be about 16oz, so I'm pretty sure the drinks "run small" haha. Otherwise, the Half Stuffed French Toast was really good, and the Avocado Toast was generously topped."

"I got the taco trio with the 50% off special, what an awesome deal! I had one each of chicken, steak and ground beef and they were all pretty tasty. Nice tangy salsas too.
But the charro beans - that's money! Beans cooked in a rich, bacony sauce. Highly recommended over the regular refried beans that other Mexican places serve!"
