It was not unlike grocery store Chinese food. Only (slightly) better having been cooked fresh. The dumplings were constructed well. They had a decent flavor, albeit very plain. Mostly sweet and a little salty. But, not much character to them. Other than being made by hand, not really worth $11 for 7 of them. I've actually had more flavorful frozen ones. They may not have been freshly made, but I've had better. Nothing stood out. A little seasoning or veggies with the pork would have helped. And be warned, you have to eat them carefully. They are packed with juice. I didn't know, and the first one burst all over my clothes. Got one packet of soy sauce, no hot mustard, no fortune cookie. No happiness. Everything fresh, nice gingery aroma. I didn't add anything because I didn't know what came with it, first time ordering from this restaurant. The to-go container was sturdy so easy to heat up if it gets cool on the way home and easy to store the leftovers if any. Noodles nicely cooked. Tasty veggie broth, not too salty."
