In Ventura since back in the mission days BBQ has always meant grilling over an open wood fire . At Marshall’s Bodacious BBQ for nearly 25 years this has been the only way we prepare our mouthwatering…
the whole pork tritip was tender but on the dry side. Loaded bake potato was good, bt I would have loved more beans and cheese.
Since I ordered beer from Smart and Final, I wish that the Dasherhad picked up cold beer, notrom shelf.

The Tri Tip Sandwich had micro bread. Used to come here in person a lot, this is the first time I door dash'd it. My husband and I were laughing at the size of the bread. We have no idea what happened. Were they running low? Is bread now a budget item? It will remain a mystery because we probably won't order here again.

The New York steak sandwich didn't come as a sandwich. Just a large peice of meat , not sliced and with no bread.

The tri-tip salad was good. However, the mac n cheese was not...it had a weird texture...the bread pudding and peach cobbler were not good...the cobbler didn't have a crust nor look anything like the picture...they also forgot to put the beef rib in my bag...this was a doordash order and doordashed resolved the issues I had...I would just stick to the bbq here...

Tri tip burritos are great and perfect for the Dairy Egg-Free crowd. The flavors remind me of old fashioned bbqs back home.
