The best Indian restaurant in town is Curry Village. Welcome to the world of Indian cuisine, which has earned a place among the most prestigious cuisines on the planet. The vast geo-ethnic cultural di…
I've gotten the chicken korma and saag paneer. Both of them were so warm and savory, a perfect comfort food. The rice and naan are also really good in their simplicity.

The chicken biryani is just colored rice with chicken. No taste or flavor. Chicken was cooked perfectly for what it's worth.
The Madras Chicken was supposed to be flavorful and spicy, instead I got like 2 spoonfuls of chilli powder dumped into the curry. Biryani definitely isn't worth $20. More like $5 for the flavor and quantity 😐

I've been ordering from Curry Village for around 20 years. Spicy curries are fantastic, and actually hot (Madras and Vindaloo). Used to used big chunks of tender chicken breast in curries; now use tiny bits of thigh meat, quite disappointing. Mixed veggie curry is always delicious. Ordered plain steamed rice, but received pulao rice (did not want greasy bright orange rice). All portion sizes are smaller since they changed packaging. Still the best spicy and flavourful (and not salty) curries in the city.

way too expensive compared to other indian places around down. I've gotten bigger portions of butter chicken for $5 less, same goes for the lamb.

Agree w other reviews, same portion you get anywhere else, not as tasty, but more expensive? Butter chicken tasted identical to what I've made at home. Naan was doughy, if cooked longer would be good.
