I think a lot of the non-Persian customers don't appreciate what's considered delicious in Persian cuisine because they have a different taste or palate. All the dishes here are quite authentic and according to Persian's ideas of how their food ought to be prepared. Zeitun has always managed to deliver consistent quality and flavour in their dishes which is quite an achievement considering that Persian dishes require time and and effort to prepare.

Zeitoon is a great restaurant overall.
My last order, however, didn't live up to expectations, very bland and tasteless, maybe a bad day for the chef.
I will recommend this restaurant and will order again.

Not a fan. Tahdig was super old and gross - almost inedible. The barg was hard to chew. Everything else was just mediocre. Don't recommend.

The lamb shank was mostly bone. It used be way better than this.

the quality and taste for this restaurant has gone down hill maybe they don't have the same chef 🤔  I'm not sure my food was OK nothing great my kebabs were little burnt and appetizer didn't taste how it used to and same with the yogurt
