There was more Miso soup than the meat. Salmon looked like the last piece of the meat. Chicken katsu was overcooked and salty. Did not expect less portion of meat for a $20 meal.

The chicken cutlet is dry and burned
The teriyaki chicken is hard to chewy
The California roll trust me they put too much vinegar too much and only taste sour

Im writing a review, because, I saw bad reviews. Im a local regular, this place is a mom & pop restaurant, both from Japan. The food is delicious; its not the best you'll ever have, but its tasty and good quality, fresh. They're bento boxes are $20 bucks, you cant beat it around here. Ive been loving the food here for years. My *ONLY*complaint is that they take a few days off for each major holiday, good for them but not for my belly haha

Chicken and shrimp were undercooked, fish smelled bad, sauce was gelatinous. Overall unappealing, unfortunately.
