Just had the carnitas nachos and it was delicious. I've seen the place while heading to one  of the other downtown spots and thought it was more like a bar and not so much a food joint, but boy was I wrong! 
The pozole was some of the best I've had in years, and I've tried plenty, so I definitely   know where I'll be getting my next  bowl from. 
I cant wait to try the rest of the menu!

I was disappointed with my order. The Micharon Shrimp (9pc)  was different from the original Chacho's  in downtown San Jose. The difference is the Micharon Shrimp (9pc) seemed to be boiled and had very little seasoning. The Posole  did not have the hearty flavor that made it authentic. The broth was not as rich. I found my order to be ok but nothing like the food served at the San Jose location. Unfortunately,that location is not open for business.

burrito was good, tasty.. churro was really good..  but the albondigas, barely two spoonfuls was enough.. so disappointed and I do like Chaco's food.. the albondigas was a fat miss..

I try to give it more chances but every time I'm disappointed :( I order a fish ceviche and all it was is a big pieces of fish with tomato and water no flavor at all .  And a plate  of Chile relleno and the Chile seem to b really old . ￼￼

first,  the tacos and burritos are great, no complaints. 
however the lettuce in the Fiesta salad has been extremely bitter these past couple orders. not sure why.   the oranges, tomatoes, etc are fine.  but the lettuce is terrible.
