Delicious! They accommodated my special requests. The Tostada was delicious with the avocado and sourcream. The Horchata was so good and sweet. They put plenty of cheese and I enjoyed that because it is an extra charge. The Taco Dinner was so good. I will be ordering here again. They also give plenty of fries. Great Mexican food.

Very disappointing experience both the food and the customer service afterward.
We have been customers of Cilantro Taco Grill in Rosemont since the location opened, and for years we were very happy with the food. That is exactly why this most recent experience was so disappointing.
On September 20 at approximately 7:22 PM, we ordered a taco salad and five steak tacos.
Unfortunately, the food was nothing like what we have come to expect from this restaurant.
• The taco salad shell was so badly burned that it was completely inedible.
• The salad consisted mostly of rice with a very small amount of meat.
• The five steak tacos also contained an extremely small amount of steak, substantially less than what we have received in the past.
• The sauce that was supposed to come with our order was completely missing.
I understand that the order was placed relatively close to closing time and that the staff may have been rushing to finish for the evening. However, that is not an acceptable reason to serve burned food, substantially reduced portions, and an incomplete order. Customers should receive the same quality and attention regardless of what time they place an order.

The food and everything was good. The staff was friendly. The only thing is the portion difference between here and the location they have in Elgin. The Elgin location has a full bowl for you and the one here is like half the size. Same good same company and you pay more here and get half the size bowl.

My guy said the Burrito was really good and good meat quantity and quality. I love the chicken tacos. They are shredded to perfection. Very juicy and they have a lot of flavor even before the sauce is added.

Absolutely amazing it came on time and warm. The steak taco was good and the salsa verte was just the right amount of spice. The shrimp was fresh and tasted amazing. The only bad thing I could say is that I wish there were more.
