I love this place! It is my go-to when I don't feel like cooking or am just craving great chicken. Always perfectly cooked, great sides (I prefer the corn & broccoli), and warm corn tortillas... Perfect!
I generally get a side of the chips & guac as well.
Usually this order is enough for lunch the next day too!

I was stunned at how small the mashed potatoes with gravy and rice were. They were $6.99 each. They were very little. Should've been half that price. I'm doubtful the mashed potatoes w/gravy were even real mashed potatoes, tasted like boxed. Like KFC. The rice was completely bland. AND the only reason I ordered it was I was supposed to get a large container of bbq black beans for free if I got 20 bucks worth of food. So I added food to get to the 20 bucks, including the rice & they didn't give me the black beans at all!! One reason I justified getting doordash today was that I would food ready tomorrow. Well, now I've had the soup, tiny mashed potatoes w/gravy & tiny rice & I'm still hungry & there's no food for tomorrow. I've never eaten at Pollo Loco before but thought they were pretty popular. I won't be eating there again.

Quesadilla birria box is very small and not worth the $12. Honestly would let recommend this at all. Save your money and go to a real taqueria with quality ingredients. Not worth the hype

The two birria tacos had practically zero meat... Mostly onions and cilantro and tortillas. Not tasty at all. I feel ripped off. But, they packed everything perfectly and the consume was delicious!
