• 23-04-24Every single item was exactly perfect! And I ordered quite a few. Here's what I ordered: Ribeye Center Cut 13 oz., Shrimp Kisses, Maine Lobster Bisque, Side of Mashed Potatoes, Upside Down Candied Walnut Apple Pie and the Chocolate Silk Pie.
The shrimp was wrapped so tightly in the bacon that the whole thing cooked evenly. Perfect bacon, perfect shrimp. Sweet spicy sauce was a subtle comment.
The soup was so rich it seemed almost a pudding. And certainly, it came with these little butter-fried croutons (they stayed crispy till the bitter end!) and some lovely fresh lump lobster on the side. Heavenly.
The steak was also perfectly cooked, and was as tender and flavorful as the ones I used to get in New Mexico. It came with an absolutely enormous loaf of sourdough Bread. Crusty and rich and dense. And delicious simple mashed potatoes (maybe a little too simple?) and string beans with carrots in herbed butter. Nice. I definitely needn't have ordered the side of potatoes.
The crispy, nutty crust on the apple pie was divine by itself, but it came with this tiny little custard cup of something light and creamy and spicy cinnamon. It wasn't whipped cream, it wasn't custard, it wasn't ice cream, it wasn't egg whites...But it seemed to something magical of all of them! Goodness!!
The french silk pie was so rich and dense that I couldn't finish it. Dammit, I wanted to! It came with the same tiny cup, this time filled with a sweet syrup that was potently of fresh rasberries and just a whiff of some licqeur. There were of course, plump, fresh, tart rasberries floating there. Waiting...
Perfect meal!! Bravo!!

• 22-04-28Delicious as you would expect, but some dishes may not be filling. I would recommend appetizers plus your main if you are really hungry.
