This pizza is absolutely fantastic. I've been obsessed since my first slice of Slice Space Cadet several months ago! I'm a big fan! Slice I'm a Funghi was pretty good, as well.

This quickly became my absolute favorite pizza in DC after 18 years of enduring middling DC pizza. However, the last 2 weeks something is way off. I peg the change roughly to being mentioned on a Washingtonian list around that time period and maybe they have gotten much busier. I order a whole classic cheese via DoorDash. The last 2 pizzas have been not just cold but stale, like they sent me something they had laying around. The look is totally different too these 2 weeks. Much less cheese on top and looks different too. Heartbreaking.

they overdid it today with the cheese on both the Slice Space Cadet and the Slice IL Classico. i like their pizza but i feel like i should go in person now to ensure I'm getting what I'm paying for

The crust is good.  The pizza is insanely salty...like ankle-swelling salty.  Hard to taste much beyond the salt and it was kinda charred.  One slice was supposed to have fresh basil but it came without.  Overall really disappointing  because it looks great - online.  Oh well.
