• 23-07-14Nothing tasted fresh. Bland.
Seafood rice, weirdly seasoned with a dashes of pepper on top. Rice was anaemic, damp and tasted stale. One fishball cut into 8ths, one or two small shrimp, one mushy crab piece.
Seafood udon. Soup was bland. No sprigs of Thai basil. Meagre portions of very bland seafood.
Spring rolls, all noodle, no basil, one very thinly sliced shrimp. which added no flavour. Did not order pork so cannot comment on that.
Seafood and mixed veg. Again sprinkled with dashes of pepper. Weird. Bland. Again meagre portions of seafood.
Considering the price, expected fresh. Portions do not have to be large, but they do have to be fresh. Disappointed since had a good meal there a year ago. No one wants to order food only to end up feeling like the chef didn't seem particularly interested in preparing fresh food.

• 22-06-21pho special absolutely not an extra large in terms of quantity. grilled pork chop and grilled shrimp also underwhelming lacking seasoning and three small shrimp? not at all what was expected. even the dipping with the summer rolls was almost bland.

• 25-04-15Honestly very very disappointed with this order. The vermicelli bowl sauces had no flavour , the chicken and veg stir fry tasted terrible, and the pad Thai also had barely any sauce. I've never had something with such little flavour .

• 24-02-21I ordered pad Thai and cheese wontons and both were unsatisfactory. I am not one to complain but the pad Thai noodles were all stuck together and had hardly no taste. The cheese wonton were also blah and tasted like the oil used was old or used before. I actually thought I was ordering from the other Saigon restaurant on John street that is 100% better. Ugggh would give this restaurant 3/10. I feel like a wasted my last $30. So disappointing
