The Mala XLB (8 Pcs) / 麻辣小笼包 and the Tom Yum Xlb were sensational. Great amount of spices and went heavenly well with white rice. Im Stuffed

@Portlandfoodslut I would definitely say...
It was a party in my mouth. The perfect amount of sweet to heat ratio!
So good I forgot to take a picture of all 8 dumplings. This twist on kung pow really hit the spot! I'll be going in for a sit down experience this week and rave about it once more. Find me on Insta for this adventure :)

I would not recommend the Chow Mein. The dumplings were flavorful and had good texture, though the spicy sauces/oils were not spicy at all. The Chow Mein was oily, not flavorful, and had barely a handful of onions and chicken. Obviously, this being a dumpling place, that's where their strength lies. The Spring Rolls were crispy and flavorful, and the sweet and sour dipping sauce was the best I've had in ages.

By far the oiliest pancakes I've had from area dumpling restaurants. I had expected them to be crisp and light; but was disappointed. In addition, for the price, not having rice included was extremely disappointing compared to all Asian restraints in the area. I'm not sure what the thinking is to have an entree like cashew chicken and not have rice as a part of the entree. Finally, the broth for the wonton is not a traditional broth, which means it does not have a rich flavor or layers or flavor. I am disappointed as I have been meaning to try this over the last few months as a new go-to, but will have to mark it off as a possible inclusion in the rotation.

Tried the wonton in chili oil and black pepper beef dumplings. The wontons had a great spicy kick, and the black pepper beef dumplings were perfectly pan-fried—crispy outside, juicy inside. So good!
