Coffeeshop + Craft Barbecue + Tex Mex Mex Mex Kitchen = The Smoky Mug, Richmond's newest restaurant concept. The cafe menu features specialty lattes, breakfast sandwiches & burritos, locally-sourced b…
This breakfast burrito is the best in the city, BY FAR. Taste- excellent. Quality/freshness- excellent. My only complaint is how tiny they are. Though the price isn't high to begin with, I'd gladly pay $1-2 more if it was a more substantial size.

Wow! Wow!Wow! Wow! Wow!! That was the reaction around the table to the Smoky Mug! Most of us had the brisket which we think is the best in town (I am from Texas and have high standards for smoked brisket). The sides were also great and the salsa had a genuine kick (note -it is a salsa fresca). You can't go wrong here!!!

The Avacado Avocado Bagel was delicious. My bagel was a tad overcooked but the distribution of avacado across the top was perfect. Loved that my Cold Brew arrived with the top covered on the sip-through lid versus open during delivery.

Delicious, but tiny. It's more of a breakfast taco than a burrito, my hands are fairly average in size. The "burrito" was around $10 after I added meat, but in my opinion should have been at least 50% bigger for that price. Granted, I started out really hungry, but I could still easily eat a second one. It tasted great, the crunch was a nice addition, but I'm not sure I even got a full egg in it.
