I felt like the rice was good; maybe just a little bland and there needs to be an option to order extra sauces (the orange sumac? Sauce is AMAZING; need more of that!) or to get a side of pita bread and hummus; also an option for water bottle or sugar free drink. I did like the Palestine orange soda. It would also be nice if there was an option for something like a grilled chicken salad. I thought the chicken was tasty but also a little bit dry. However, the beef was delicious. I ordered one regular beef bowl and one chicken bowl and I felt like both were pretty good. I would also say that I would give them extra points just for being a very small local business versus a chain. I'm always rooting for a smaller business to be successful. I would say that the quality is there. I would like to see more more cucumber and tomato in the bowl, maybe a little bit more seasoning on the rice. We ordered the Combination Plate with the Shish Kabob and Lula Kabob, and it was absolutely delicious. 🤤 The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The saffron rice, grilled tomatoes, peppers, and fresh onion salad were all outstanding. The portions were generous, and every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh. Friendly service, clean restaurant, and excellent value. I’m definitely coming back to try more items on the menu. If you’re looking for the best Mediterranean food or kabobs in Turlock, I highly recommend Kabob Place!"
