Entire course was the best vegan dish I've ever had since becoming vegan. First time eating at CharroVida, and definitely not the last if I'm ever in the mood for Mediterranean, Southern, Mexican gourmet cuisine. I had called the store prior to placing an order to double check if the Hola Hemp Mini Chimis were vegan, the staff was gracious and accommodating over the phone and double checked for accuracy with another waiter. Everything I had was favorable and authentic. The handmade vegan queso sauce provided a spicy base to the robust flavors of the Hola Hemp Mini Chimis. The GLS Hola Hemp Horchata was delectable, the Chips & Salsa Trio had a unique assortment of tortilla chips, and the red and green salsa was tasty with different levels of a spicy kick. The Churro Dreams was heaven.

Hi quality and super tasty. The Vida tacos are awesome - I got pollo asado, pollo Al pastor, and carne seca (if you haven't had their CS, it's delicious and the same as the carne seca the parent restaurant is famous for!)

The enchiladas are one of our favorite dishes at Charro Vida! The vegan cheese stars in the dish - very gooey and delicious. I love adding the shrimp to it as well, as the shrimp is an excellent addition to any Charro dish.
Also the churros are truly dreamy. I don't like churros normally, but these are moist in the middle with a crunchy exterior

Normally I have a very positive experience with CharroVida. This order was far from positive. The Brussel sprouts were extremely oily. They also didn't come topped with anything as they normally do. The portabella in my asada plate was barely touched and VERY thickly cut. Also smaller than what I normally receive on the plate. The squash was also oily and mushy. Normally it's lightly charred with great flavor. All around disappointing and frustrating to receive.

We typically order from here quite often because the food is fresh and tasty and we have never had any issues. When we ordered a kid's burger the gluten free bun was as hard as a rock and was inedible.
