This is the best meal I've had in a long time! The three piece chicken was incredibly, the sides were so delicious... the candied yams felt like a hug I didn't know I needed, and the Mac and cheese was just right. To finish off, I had the strawberry cake... OMG the strawberry cake was the perfect finish. I will absolutely be ordering again.

I ordered from this place tonight and I was very surprised. We had the barbecue rib dinner with yams and collard green, the fried fish platter with fries and mac& cheese, chicken wings with cabbage and, banana pudding. I tasted a bit of all the food. The wings were excellently cooked, the fish was fried hard the way I like it and the yams reminded me of home. They were sweet, perfectly seasoned, and not too mushy. The collards and cabbage were perfectly seasoned. The dishes had corn bread, which was decent, but it was not warm and very thin. We also had strawberry cake. It was the best strawberry cake I've ever had, It was thick, moist, and the serving was extremely generous. I was not planning to have an cake, but when I tasted it, it was like lay's potato chips, I could not stop with one bite. Fortunately, there was enough for everyone, even after I had more than my share :)

The food was AMAZING!!! EVERYTHING was well seasoned from the sides to the meat! Not too much and not too little. The food was very flavorful and was not salty. My first time ordering from somewhere and I did not have to raid my seasoning cabinet to add things to my food. The catfish was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection! Flavorful, tender, and juicy! The fried chicken was delicious but it had way too many feathers left so I pulled most of the skin off. :( But the sides were delicious! The sweet potatoes were spiced up very nice, reminded me of thanksgiving dinner :p and the mac was great, not too soupy and not too dry. And the banana pudding was good. (I'm just not a huge fan of banana pudding made with actual banana flavored pudding) Definitely will be ordering from them again!

The meatloaf was excellent!!! I could say it was the best I've had in a long time. The mashed potatoes were a bit watery for my taste and they lacked seasoning. The baked chicken was extremely tender, as if it were cooked in a pressure cooker before adding the bbq sauce. The bones were even soft, so you can imagine how tender the chicken was; however it seems a part of a thigh I received was left out for a while, as the side of the thigh was hard. The cakes...OMG...I ordered just to sample the other cakes because I tasted the strawberry cake from a few days ago and I was impressed. The other cakes are also home made; you can taste it, and they are moist. Delicious!!!

The food was perfect. The fried fish was crunchy and meaty, the bbq chicken was tender and and juicy and the right amount of bbq sauce. The greens and string beans were seasoned perfectly, the Mac and cheese was cheesy and buttery perfect and the cornbread was great too. This was my first time trying it tonight.
