Very delicious vegan options!! The macaroni pie is a must try! The burger and patties are also excellent. Only complaint is the portion size and price of the plantains.. $8 for 5 thin pieces. No way. Will happily order everything else again, though!

I order the stewed chicken every time I come here. The plate is always heavy because they always put more than enough portion!
Compared to other places, this is my favorite.
If you're looking for Fresh food and fresh service it is here at Pigeon Peas you wont be disappointed.
There maybe different staff here and there but they are always attentive & calm ready to help the customers.
Look no place is perfect, but this place sure as heck makes it feel like home cooked food every time! Now... let me get back to eating my food haha.

Let me tell YOU! I ordered the oxtail eggroll. The oxtail was cooked to perfection! The mix of cheese and oxtail wasnt too sweet. I also ordered the plaintains, very generous portion and not 1 was burnt! My daughter ordered the Beyond burger, she said the burger was juicy and cooked to perfection as well! The fries were also tasty. We will def be ordering again. Please dont change a thing!

I’ve eaten pizza all over New Jersey and New York, and this jerk chicken pizza really caught me off guard—in the best way. One of the best slices I’ve had in my life, hands down. The flavor is crazy, the balance is on point, and it feels like something new that hasn’t been fully tapped into yet. Wild that more places aren’t doing this, because this spot absolutely nailed it. Instantly one of my favorite spots.

Oxtail fantastic. Very tender. Would have liked a little more meat for the price. The rice and peas and Callaloo were good size portions. I was a little disappointed because there were no more jerk plantain patty but that quickly changed because the Lentil one that substituted was amazing. It didn't make it home with the rest of the food. Will definitely try again.
