We started going to Red 8 out of convenience and limited choices about eight years ago, and we continued to go because the service was always fast and accommodating, and the food was pretty good. Over the years, we have noticed improvement in customer service, food texture and flavor, and even take-out containers. Last night, our dinner was the best ever! The Sesame Chicken was extra tender with no dry edges; Cheese Wontons seemed to be a bit more plump than usual & were still warm when they were delivered; & best of all, the Ham Fried Rice was hot, steamy, and had more flavor than usual-- as if they upgraded a couple of the ingredients. Whatever they did, it was awesome!

Five stars, no hesitation. If sushi were a sport, this place would be competing in the Olympics.
We’ve been working our way through the menu like enthusiastic researchers, and honestly it’s hard to go wrong. That said, we do have our champions: the Tropic Roll is pure happiness—fresh, bright, and just the right amount of tropical flair. And the sake salmon nigiri? Absolute perfection.

Red Eight Sushi never disappoints for dine in or delivery. We love their rolls for their creativity, freshness, and perfect balance of flavors—each one thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The sashimi is equally exceptional: pristine cuts, incredibly fresh, and served with a simplicity that lets the quality of the fish speak for itself.

Chicken donburi was a very small portion, especially for the price. Octopus and red clam nigiri were far from fresh. They were dry and rubbery, like chewing old gum. Very expensive for low quality food.

the portions are incredibly small for $8 which is a shame because it was actually really good sushi. unfortunately, the Niku Udon was not it. the meat from the niku udon had a weird texture and was incredibly gummy soft, and it had a bunch of shredded vegetables that didn't add anything. there's lots of other places you could go where the quality and quantity are better
