• 20/02/24FOOD was great- chicken 3 whole Wings with Fries ; wings have a very pleasant crispiness to them! Not a lot of meat on them. They are skinny, check the pictures! Bourbon sauce was great. Fries were gross. Zero seasoning. I added salt and pepper. Honestly inedible. I dipped them in the bourbon sauce to finish them. Rice and beans were great! Barbecue baked chicken was fantastic. Incredibly well cooked! You could not handle this chicken without it falling apart! The sauce is mild, it's not hot or VERY flavorful. But, this is the safe approach and i wont judge them for it. Sweet Plantains as a side are expensive. $5 for six pieces(pictured). However, they were sweet/ripe and well cooked!
SERVICE was extremely slow and lacked any attention to detail- I was called by the driver to inquire on what sides i wanted. The DD app doesnt allow you to choose the entree without choosing both sides! The driver also pointed out they didn't start my order til she arrived to the restaurant and inquired on it. Driver also mentioned a 30+ minute wait is a regular experience here. For context: my order was scheduled by 8am and acknowledged by the restaurant by 3pm. My driver had not arrived til nearly 4pm. I see little excuse here. I want to give them a 3 star review. But, food is the priority here and they did that well.

• 19/07/26I'm just gonna be real. The Baked Bar B Que short ribs were good, onions were a pleasant surprise, tender and thick, the Potato Salad was the star. Not sweet and had the egg,onions, etc. sweet potatoes seemed regular, possibly canned, flavor was okay. The Sweet potato cornbread was good. Definitely ordering again for the oxtails. Portion was good, definitely worth it.

• 16/05/26Oxtails and Fish Hoagie (Whitening) I ordered overtime I don't feel like cooking. I love these dishes. Great portion sizes. I loved supporting local businesses and this one to support. For anyone wanting to know the oxtails are savory- love, not sweet- yuck! The potato salad, Mac n cheese, and the collard greens are my favorite sides. The fish sandwich is huge not light. You will have leftovers!

• 25/06/23I eat here multiple times a week, I am hooked. That oxtail gravy is crack, and all of the side dishes are delicious. When I want to splurge I get the seafood salad, that is so good and creamy and loaded with crabmeat. By far the best food I've ever had.

• 7/12/24I just wanted some fried fish with tasty sides, yall....but I swear they are holding somebody's Grandma in that kitchen! Everything was delicious!! The cook "put their entire foot" in this meal!! The Fried Fish Whitening was perfectly golden brown and flavored well. The yams were yummy and so was the Mac and cheese! And the portions were surprisingly plentiful!
