I went on a strenuous hike came in to pick up my order limping and burned like a lobster. but I knew I needed ramen to help cure me. I hobbled to my car and went home showered and but the broth in the microwave to be super hot and poured it into my ramen and let the ingredients get used to its temp while I devoured thay Crispy Rice w Spicy Tuna which made me feel reborn already. 2 pieces isn't enough but I can see why its 8 dollars now. I want a whole tray of those. I followed it with Combo (Ramen + Appetizer) I got the pork bun as the appetizer and it was heavenly. soft bun, sweet and tangy meat that is so soft it melts in your mouth followed by the Pickled Onion that balanced the flavor with a tangy taste and crunch..mmm.. they know what theyre doing. then I ate the California Roll that helped me feel refreshed the ginger was everything they fill it really well. lastly i enjoyed my ramen. the comfort it gave me was indescribable. every bite I took was nutritious and I felt transport

The Blaze ramen was really good and with the cold now settling in it definitely warmed me up and the thick cut of pork belly was super tender and equally as delicious. The chicken karaage was also really good and from all the other ramen places I've tried on this app this one has been the best so far!

the broth is soooo delicious and was perfect for this rainy weather. noodles were a bit stuck together at first but I reheated the broth and tossed the noodles in and they were fine. portion wise it was perfect with just the right amount of broth. this has been one of many times I've ordered from SLR and it definitely won't be the last.

I always order the Blaze, I love it, it's been my favorite since I started going to this place! The portion is great, and it always tastes amazing! For the side dishes, the Crispy Rice w Spicy Tuna is so fresh and delicious, the gyozas are amazing, if you want them more juicy then ask for pan fried but if you like the crunchy taste then definitely go for the fried option, they serve them with a side of a creamy sauce like sirracha mayo. Another favorite is the creamy broccoli, the name speak for itself! I love how you can customize your dish, overall 100/10

Would appreciate a bit more of the broth being sent home as I am paying more for eating it at home than the restaurant and I am getting less. Anyway, food is great. Pork, broth, noodles, everything has been terrific and consistent. Pork is always super tender, delicious and broth is always hot, flavorful, great for rainy days (or any day if you're a ramen rodeo cowboy like myself). Everything always tastes fresh and though the prices are a little higher than average, I'd recommend the spot. Thank god we finally have ramen in Downey! Blaze is great but the classic ramen is also great. Very hearty, creamy, amazing. Always look forward to ramen.
