American Comfort Food serving Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. Hand-made Burgers, Sandwiches, Salad, Steaks and classic breakfast dishes with a rustic twist.
My husband really enjoyed his Dark Chocolate Waffle. Having chocolate sauce rather than syrup was a nice treat. This was my first time eating a Scotch Egg. it was tasty and the tangy sauce was a good compliment to it. Enjoyed having the Lillie Mae’s Drop Biscuits with it. The honey butter is a nice touch. The Smoked Bacon was great, can't go wrong there. I was a bit disappointed that the Fruit Bowl was rather a fruit cup, as my husband and I ordered it to share. Grapes were substituted for the pineapple but we were okay with that. Glad we got to sample the food via DoorDash while we are vacationing at the beach. I hope to eat there in person in the future.

Wow! You cannot beat these smash burgers, especially when they are buy one get one free. Got 4 and all are huge and delicious, fries traveled well and are still warm and crispy.

I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes. They did not come with powdered sugar nor the brown sugar butter. No syrup, nothing. Just plain pancakes with a tiny ramekin of blue berries and strawberries. They also were crunchy on the sides and did not seem fresh. Also, if you choose that bacon side you get 2 pieces.

I would have pictures, but I already ate. The Risotto Bites are legit OUT OF THIS WORLD! The Wedge Salad is next level. The slight zip from the dressing, tons of crumbled blue cheese and bacon galore. The Risotto Bites I would fight someone for tho, SO SO SO good!

Rustic Spoon Review: Gourmet Disappointment on a Paper Plate
So I dropped $30 at Rustic Spoon and expected brunch magic. What I got was a masterclass in disappointment. The portions were so small, I thought it was the kid’s menu — and even they’d be like, “Where’s the rest?” IHOP and Village Inn are out here serving feasts, and Rustic Spoon gave me a sad brunch sampler.
Oh, and the sausage? Surprise! It came pre-chopped in half like it was scared to commit to being a whole link. Zero flavor, zero warning. Honestly, I’ve had more seasoning in a saltine cracker.
Save your money, friends. Go somewhere that won’t make your wallet cry and your stomach still growl.
