The oil was soaked into the dough of all our raised donuts, to the point where we could see the puddled layers of oil saturating the center of the donuts. It was like the oil wasnt hot enough when they added the donuts, so it had time to soak into the dough before the dough on the outside could cook. I didn't mind that the chocolate glaze was strangely matte, but it didn't taste like chocolate at all. The old fashion I received was so thin, it looked like an oversized onion ring. "It was late night, so I wasn't expecting much - but this was absolutely the worst.
I ordered a Chicken and Beef Burrito that was described as; "Flavorful burrito filled with a juicy combination of seasoned chicken and beef, wrapped in a warm tortilla. Serving with Yellow Rice, Pino Beans, Tomatoes, Red Onions." I add sour cream for an additional $1.99. The burrito was stuffed with French fried potatoes. There was no chicken and very little beef. The burrito was basically soggy french fries wrapped in a flour tortilla. The sour cream I paid extra for was missing from the burrito.
The picture of the jalapeño poppers gave me the impression that they'd be a cut above what one would normally expect. For $13.99 they were the lowest grade you could possibly find. Jack in the Box has better poppers for $6.79
The Frozen Tiramisu was advertised as 'buy one get one free.' I bought one but did not get one for free. I have to say it was good. However, my roommate wanted to try it as well and I was going to give him the free one. I make tiramisu often, using the New York Times classic tiramisu recipe and he wanted to compare mine with the frozen one offered here.
I really find it hard to believe that a place like this could be in business. A french fry burrito for $15.95, the worst poppers I've ever had for $13.99 and an ok tiramisù that was falsely advertised. Everything that I ordered was completely misrepresented on the menu, basically fraud. "
