"The baklava was physically well made and beautiful (gourmet presentation) however the taste was very different from what we're used to - it didn't have enough syrup and the syrup was colorless (were used to the maple syrup-like one). The taste was flat. If those were minced pistachios on it, we couldn't taste the pistachios. I don't think we would order it again. The portion (1 square, 3 eggroll-shaped) was adequate, especially that we got a BOGO free deal. The square piece was approximately 1.75 inches x 1.76 inches. The eggroll-shaped was 1.75L x 0.75 W x 0.75 D. Fresh enough (because it didn't taste like refrigerator where it was stored). I cannot recommend something I personally was not very impressed with. The “grilled chicken” topping was not grilled at all. It looked and tasted like plain boiled chicken with a little black pepper, no seasoning, no char, no flavor.
The fries were also a letdown. For $6, the portion was very small, and they weren’t seasoned at all. Even after adding salt, they still tasted bland.
Overall, everything lacked seasoning and flavor. The pizza was plain to the point of being unpleasant, and it wasn’t worth the price. I really hoped this would be a go-to halal spot, but I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience."
