"The Daikoku Ramen is amazing. I even drank all the broth and I usually don't bother.
They actually remembered to add my extra egg <3 (separately), which is something a lot of places forget to add even though it's on the receipt. The extra egg was cooked just as perfectly as the egg in the ramen.
The Mango Moose was surprisingly mostly frozen upon arrival, which I didn't expect, and it made for a lovely, cold treat by the end of the meal. No clue what the purple syrup is, but it's great with or without the moose lol
Even the packaging was on-point. The bags were sealed in a way that made sure no one opened them without you being able to tell 100%. And the bowl for the Daikoku Ramen was honestly kinda cool. It's delicious and feeds me for at least 2 days. The large, juicy, breaded pork cutlet is covered with sweet fried onions, and an egg. That's covered with Daishi Sauce to the bottom of the bowl so that my last mouthful is as flavorful as my first bites. I also recommend the Sweet Potato Miso soup. Lots of tofu, seaweed, and sweet potatoes in the salty Miso broth. I really hope they don't discontinue this "seasonal" choice as the weather gets warmer. I'm not so fond of the Onigiri selections I've tried because there's only one piece of shrimp (or fried chicken, etc.) stuffed in the middle of a huge portion of rice wrapped in seaweed. Once I eat the piece of meat it's like a steak sandwich when the piece of meat and all the sauce is gone, and the remaining 2/3rd pieces of plain white bread are left. There's just no flavor left! The Bento boxes offer the same meats but as a full meal."
