The chicken fried steak itself was cooked perfectly, not chewy at all! The gravy was thick and well seasoned. It was smaller than most chicken fried steaks and also more expensive (at least on DoorDash) than other comparable door dash CFS.
The mashed potatoes have an odd look, texture and taste. Of course it's all personal preference I just wasn't a fan. They were gritty, and tasted freezer burnt (that's the only way I can describe it, I'm sure they weren't actually freezer burnt).
The okra was okay, it was more of an okra rock since everything was battered together and stuck during cooking, made for a soggy and inconsistent fry."

The burger patties were cooked and seasoned very well, and the buns were toasted to perfection. I do wish there were options to order the burgers by themselves without fries, but that's not a deal breaker by any means. The fries were very good as well. I made an order for 24 tamales, but unfortunately, they turned out to be watery and greasy with no other flavors, and they were served at room temperature. Additionally, the cheese fries were only half cooked. The quality was so poor that I could only manage to eat two tamales. Even the cinnamon strips were lacking, as there were only 5 strips. It's disappointing because I had previously received an outstanding food delivery from them. Perhaps I will give them another chance in a few months."
