Missing, or not enough cheese in bean burrito, proportion in the cali bowl was either too much beans, or not enough rice, and the chicken tinga was a little on the spicy side, sometimes missing salsa and they stopped giving you a whole bag of chips, now it's half. For the price you pay you expect the food to be exceptional. I decided to give it another try and after several months, and I'm glad I did! The food was amazing tonight. Perfect portion, presentation/display was great, food was delicious like when I first had it years ago!!! I was so impressed I called the restaurant and thanked tonight's manager. "I got the Tenders Only coated with the honey soy. I hadn't had their food before so I also ordered a side of Garlic Soy just in case. I wouldn't say either alone would be my favorite but having the two together was perfect... I wonder if that is close to what their teriyaki tastes like. We also ordered the Crispy Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Upon first opening it, the person who ordered it said the smell was strong. They liked it. I tried a bit and did not enjoy it compared to what I ordered but I figured that would be the case due to preferences so no actual complaints. The reason I liked mine was the crispy breading and the tender, moist chicken were nicely balanced. I noticed they had cut holes out of the carton to allow steam to escape which is so helpful and so many places forget to do that with fried foods... it makes a huge difference! Thank you! We also ordered the Rice Cake Fries because reviews seemed to love them. I think this might be something I need to try immediately instead of taking it home before eating because it was just okay. It was a little bland and needed something additional to make it feel complete. The texture was okay. It was a bit chewier in a tough way as opposed to a glutinous rice way like I expected. I think this is one of those fried items that steams itself to be a little soggy and tougher (I'm Asian so rice cake texture is not usual for me... sesame balls and mochi are some normal favorites but this was not quite that). I have a good feeling it is great if you eat it right away or add a favorite dipping sauce. I'd try it again but not that item for delivery. Overall, will definitely order again. Thank you!"
