The quesabirria taco was bomb. Crispy, cheesy, juicy, and that consomĆ©? Tasty! Same with the carnitas tacoāshockingly good. Iām not even a huge carnitas lover, but this one? Soft, seasoned, flavorful. They did it right.
Now, this place is definitely going on the list of spots for legit Mexican-style tacos. Iām picky, especially with meat, and if you know me, you know I check my tacos before I even take a bite. I literally scan for fat and gristly pieces, and I can tell youābesides the al pastor, which wasnāt my favorite and had a few of those fatty bitesāthe rest was super clean. Minimal fat, nice texture, and you can see in the photos: my plates are basically empty except for those tiny bits. That says something.
So why not a 5 out of 5? Because while it was delicious and totally hit the spot....it wasnāt mind-blowing. I reserve that 5-star status for the spots that leave me shook! Regardless, this place is very good and I recommend it! Iād definitely come back and think of this place next time Iām craving tacos."
