"I clearly ordered a marble rye BAGEL from Ruby's through DoorDash. The RUBY's PAGE clearly lists all of their bagel flavors, including Marble Rye. I open up to find two pieces of bread. Called the store. They don't have that flavor as a bagel so I just paid $4.60 and a tip for two pieces of bread. They told me that they'll try to make it clearer on their end. No refund-I have to get a refund through DoorDash per the store. I told her that IT IS NOT DOORDASHES MISTAKE-it is their mistake on their ordering site. She agreed but said that they can't refund me because it was through a third party. So I'm going to ask the delivery service to refund me for the merchant's error??????
Now I'm stuck home unable to drive with two lousy pieces of bread as a meal.
This is not how you run a business-you admit the error is yours but make the customer jump through hoops, ask the party who is not at fault to refund them and don't offer any restitution?
A bagel costs them pennies to make.
Waste of $30 and my time. This is why I promote Mozzo and Jeff's Bagel Run. Their bagels are much better anyway and worth the longer drive for us.

"The crab cake was amazing but it only came with 1 which was half the size of the photo on the menu which shows 2. The brioche French toast was not good. Tasted almost like a frozen toasted French toast. It came with a side of sausage which was dried out hockey puck style and again only came with 1 which previous orders came with 2.

I've had the grit counter, bear e patch, early bird diner, metro diner, and a few other places shrimp n grits. each of them had a signature shrimp n grits that made me want to go back for more. This place didn't do that. I didn't taste anything special about it that made me want to run and tell people. Even the sausage in it lacked seasoning. Also, I only got 1 piece of shrimp, which was crazy for a shrimp n grits dish. They put more sausage pieces than shrimp. This was my first time trying this place, and I don't want to base their restaurant off of one order, so I'll order from them again in the future. I omitted the American Cheese, not a lover of melted cheese of any kind, unless it's queso or Mac n cheese. I would definitely order again. It was well worth the cost. I wish they would add a plain croissant as a bread choice. It would have made the meat lovers bowl even better. Sorry no picture. I only had hot tea and a bagel all day on yesterday. "Usually I really like this store and their food, but today it was very disappointing. First of all, my boyfriend ordered a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and he got a sad cold biscuit and there was no sausage, it was two cold pieces of chicken (inedible btw, was pretty much rubber) and the egg was completely ice cold, there was no cheese. "This has been my "go-to" spot for the last year. Typically, the food is phenomenal and beyond compare. Today, my food was terrible. My House Quesadilla Al Pastor was over packed with meat. I do not believe it had the typical cheese, onions and cilantro and it was phenomenally salty, as though the entree was fished out of the ocean. I regret not taking a picture but after sampling both halves I had to throw it in the trash. Don't bother requesting one of the delicious salsas they make in house, that request will be ignored. Steak taco was 2/5.
A few restaurants seem to serve cast off/unacceptable food to DoorDash customers. Unfortunately this place joins the list. Not sure if I will return bc I always take my food to-go. Will definitely return to the grocery store portion in person for quality ingredients. "
