Great value for money! Chicken and beef broth were both pretty solid and there was a good amount of each of the ingredients. Loved the smoky chilli oil they provided.

The Beef Bone Broth Base 招牌牛骨汤 (1.5 lb) has the spice on the side, which is great, kids can enjoy it too. Good portion( I added 2 extral add on), tastes good. The only thing I didn't like it is the noodle, which sits in the soup for too long, and not chew any more. The Sichuan Spicy Soup Base 川式麻辣烫（1.5 lb）tastes good, not too salty.

Looks like they've been updating their takeout containers. Instead of the usual wide plastic bowl, the ingredients came in a big wide sealed paper bowl, similar to instant cup noodles. The paper lid had to be torn off. I like the change from plastic although the lid was a little difficult to tear off. I should have taken a picture. The broth came in a tall plastic container as usual.
This is the second time I've ordered the fish maw/chicken broth and I think it was a little better than the first. All the ingredients were cooked well. I've ordered from here often enough to know my favorite ingredients. I always get the marbled beef-- IMO, none of the other meat options are as good-- napa cabbage, a type of mushroom, tofu puffs, tripe, and flower cheese fish cake.
I generally enjoy the beef (they have 2 options now, original and ...not original? Both taste basically the same to me), tomato, and fish maw/chicken broth. Have also tried the spicy/sichuan one and that was honestly terrible. It was like a bowl of nasty oil rather than broth and had more spice than actual flavor. My sister ordered it and could barely consume a third of it, and she felt sick after. There's another review from a year or two ago that says pretty much the same thing. But other than that broth, everything else I've tried is great.

Wow, I got the Tomato Flavored Broth (Vegan) 酸甜番茄汤 (1.5 lb) and it is amazing! You get a lot for the price. Very flavorful

Both the Chicken Broth Base and Beef Bone Broth Base were super tasty! The 1.5lb portions were huge (enough for 2 meals). And I LOVED their mala dipping sauce. The only complaint I have was that my Beef Bone Broth bowl was mostly sweet potato noodles... Not much of the other ingredients. The next time I'm craving malatang, I will consider ordering from here again (mainly for the dipping sauce). Hopefully the ingredients distribution will be more fair next time!
