• 8/12/26This was so, so terribly bad, it would be remiss of me to not write a review. I ordered takeout yesterday, which was not inexpensive, and I ordered four dishes: Dandan noodles (Noodles in Spicy Chili Sauce), Wonton in Spicy Chili Sauce, Dry Braised Young Chicken with Mixed Vegetables, and Stir-fried Pea Sprout with Garlic. With the largely favorable reviews here, I was hoping for a good meal, but it turned out to be one of the worst orders I’ve had in a very long time. The Dandan noodles came entirely without any kind of sauce, so without exaggerating, they literally gave me dry, boiled, unsalted noodles with a couple of Chinese broccoli leaves and a few token morsels of ground meat. The restaurant was kind enough to make it a 2-for-1 special, so I now had a double portion of plain, boiled noodles. Wonderful. The chicken dish was nicely spiced in a typically Sichuan mala way, but the chicken itself was virtually inedible: it was hacked up with a cleaver into tiny bits without any regard whatsoever for the bird’s anatomy, so there were splinters of bone everywhere, and to make it worse, there was literally as much fragmented bone as there was meat. It was so frustrating to pick out so much crushed and shattered bone among the vegetables, I had to throw the whole dish away. Pea sprouts should have been easy, and the garlic made it delicious, but the vegetables themselves were old and entirely untrimmed, with a lot of fibrous, woody stems, making half of them inedible. Again, without hyperbole, it’s frustrating to pick through a dish to separate the edible and inedible portions. The wontons were good, with nice skins and a spicy sauce, and those were also on a 2-for-1 special. They were the only things that were acceptable out of the order. If you’re thinking of ordering from here, just don’t. I certainly won’t ever again. I feel like I deserve a refund.

• 1/4/26General Tso's chicken was delicious and the portions were enough to last for 2-3 meals. I just wish a little more broccoli was provided to balance out the chicken. Would absolutely order again though!

• 6/7/26The dried chili chicken was way over cooked and fried to a crisp with very little chicken.

• 9/4/25傳家麻婆豆腐 / Mapo Tofu was great very authentic. But came with scallion pancake instead of rice which I found odd. There is no option to order rice as a side at this restaurant either
