• 6/22/25finally found the best Indian in toledo. having been to London and having the best I knew what to look for. the taste is as close as I've found, the heat is there and the chicken (breast not thigh) was great. albeit the chicken wasnt much - the flavor made up for everything. the onion pakora was as close to an onion bahji as I'll find and it was great too. bit expensive but you get a ton of food - just wish a bit more protein. well done.

• 5/9/26Amma's is my go to comfort restaurant. I love their food so much that I probably eat here almost every week or every other week.
All their biryanis are delicious. Especially the Shrimp Biryani & the Kofta Biryani. The food always arrives hot, freshly prepared, spiced to perfection and flavorful. It's amongst the best biryani restaurants I've been to. The staff is also really kind and service full if you ever visit in person.

• 5/12/25We tried the following dishes: Paneer Tikka Masala Chicken Vindaloo Butter Chicken Chicken Tikka Masala Chicken Curry. The serving sizes were tiny. They were almost all sauce. The Tikka Masala dishes had 2 slices of pepper in each, though sufficient onion. There was also precious little chicken (or paneer) in any of the dishes. I was also surprised to get white rice instead of a yellow/saffron rice. Further, twice while eating the Vindaloo I chewed into something with the texture and firmness of a toothpick (maybe it was small chicken bone?).
The flavors of the curry were well done and mild spicy was much more true to authentic cuisine than most places. Those used to American cuisine are probably fine (based on our kids asking for a drink because "it's spicy" but easily finishing their plates.

• 11/16/25I tried the Thalapakatti Chicken Biryani and really enjoyed it. The seeraga samba rice was fragrant, the chicken was tender, and the spices were well balanced. The portion was definitely sufficient, and overall it had the authentic Dindigul flavor I was hoping for. I’ll definitely buy this again.
