Quality sushi and the BEST Honey Walnut Shrimp I've ever had. Hands down!! We will be ordering every week, that's how good this place is.

All of the fish was fresh and they followed my requests. Spicy tuna roll was crunchy and flavorful, with higher quality tuna than I usually see at this price. Will definitely order again, I want to try everything!

I have tried many Japanese restaurants in the San Diego area, and Asanuma is among the very top. Among other things, you're one of the few that makes egg drop soup and yours is delicious, but everything else is in incredibly well prepared, tasty, and fresh. I particularly like your Crunchyroll, but in general, you are where I go for Japanese food in San Diego.

Garlic Edamame (Soybean) was skimpy and all skin. Szechuan Beef was fatty and mostly veggies. Cream Cheese Wonton (6 Pieces) was OK, but the sauce seemed cheap and gave me a headache. Overall poor quality food and I wont be back.

They have great sushi and Chinese food. The menu has great variety on it and everything is very fresh! The salt and pepper chicken wings are great too! The portions are good and I would definitely order again!
