• 7/26/26I was surprised they were able to reach out and say they were out of my favorite item, smoked potatoes. These are the main reason I order from them. I appreciated they reached out so I could sub it with something else. As always, their food is amazing! Chicken is always so tender and juicy as well as the ribs and pulled pork.

• 7/17/26We love port a pit! We have enjoyed port a pit for 30+ years! Usually great food! It's a treat when we get port a pit but I must say we were disappointed today! We got Pork Ribs & Chopped BBQ plate. Both meats were tough and missing the wow flavor we are used to. The rolls and hush puppies were very hard. But the squash casserole never disappoints, YUM!!! Maybe just a bad day for them. We will not let this one incident stop us from returning!

• 10/19/25Wow! I was blown away on how flavorful the chicken and ribs were. I just had surgery so can't leave my home and had it DoorDashed. Really so good and right here in Statesville. Will definitely be a regular customer.
