We ordered the roasted half chicken and 8 different sides. Corn bread, blk eyed peas, Holy Trinity, mashed potatoes, hoppin john, green beans, dirty rice, yams, and sautéed apples. Lord, what a feast. Without exception, the food was perfectly cooked. Then we enjoyed banana pudding (OMG!) and peach cobbler. We'll be back for sure.

Absolutely loved this place. The food tasted so soulful and comforting, like something made back home in the country down South. You could really tell it was made with love, and it honestly spoke to my soul. I had the roasted half chicken and the bread pudding, and both were amazing. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and satisfying, and the bread pudding was the perfect ending. Everything tasted homemade in the best possible way. I would absolutely order again.

The taste, portion sizes, and freshness of everything are excellent. I would definitely purchase from this restaurant again. The Smothered Pork Chops, Turkey Wings and Mac & Cheese were all absolutely delicious! If you want some delicious soul food, I highly recommend Ruby's Southern Kitchen.

Chicken wings were fried and seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend. Cabbage was delicious ! Mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful. Only issue was the potato salad has a tad much mustard/egg but overall really enjoyed my meal. 10/10

We ordered a number of sides with our main dish just to try Ruby's. DELICIOUS without exception. Excellent fried shrimp, yams, green beans, red potatoes, hoppin' john, apples, and more. The cornbread was OMG. Definitely on our saved list.
