Caribe Express is always a grand slam!! The Curry Chicken is flavorful and extremely filling. You will have leftovers. The Sweet, Fried Slices of Plantains, Cabbage, Collard Greens and Rice & Peas are the perfect complement to a great entree. I can't end my review without mentioning the Beef Patties freshly out the oven. I will be ordering from Express Caribe again. And It was a nice touch to see a thank you note with my name on the bag.

Very disappointed with the oxtails. They were very tiny and majority bone with little to no meat. When you pay $34 for a meal you expect better. I do not recommend and will not buy again from this establishment.

The ackee and saltfish with the ground provisions was delicious. Probably the best I've had in the DMV area. The plantains were a bit overcooked to my liking, but weren't burnt. Will definitely order again.

I ordered jerk chicken which is typically served as various portions on the chicken. I was a bit disappointed to be served 4 party wings (not even full wings). I asked for gravy on my rice and was told they didnt have gravy so I had to BUY jerk sauce for 75 cents because it didnt come with my $18.00 meal. As I mentioned the portion/serving was not what I'd expect from an authentic Jamaican restaurant but the food itself was good. I may give them another try but I WONT be getting jerk chicken if I do!
