I've been here many times and the food is great! It's cooked fresh by the owner and the quality of the ingredients is the best, fresh and delish!
Not as spicy as I like it, but I always let them know and they adjust the heat level. My favorites are the pooris, potatoes and a tandoori meat platter. Owner works hard as does his wife and there is also a little grocery with Indian/Pakistani/ Burmese ingredients. Great outdoor space too. I go with my little dog and delivery is timely too. The food lasts in the fridge so you know the ingredients are good quality.
My fave place to go for desi( homey) food in Culver City.

Tender chunks of lamb with generous portion sizes! The curry itself is deeply flavorful and soaks into rice well if you decide to get that on the side. I've gotten this twice already and I'd definitely get it again.

The iftar box made me weep! In a good way. The chana reminds me of my mother's iftaar who is far away in India. The mixed fries were great too but the black gram salad was exceptional!
One suggestion, since this is an iftar box, can you please add a date to it too?

Best customer service! The food is authentic and delicious every time! Taste like home. All you have to do is mix everything together and it's ready to eat. The complementary soup is also amazing!
