The egusi was so flavor full and the goat was smoked and tasted so good . I swear they never disappoint

Abi’s Kitchen in Romeoville is a whole hidden gem! I tried the Bowl of Egusi Soup with Extra Banku, Red Red, and Spiced Goat, and everything was packed with flavor. The egusi soup was rich, hearty, and comforting, with that deep homemade taste that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The extra banku was the perfect match — soft, filling, and made the meal even more satisfying.
The Red Red was flavorful and comforting, with the perfect balance of seasoning, and the Spiced Goat was tender, bold, and seasoned so well. You can tell the food is made with care and culture. Every dish had its own personality, but together it felt like a full, soulful meal.
Abi’s Kitchen definitely knows what they’re doing. Great portions, amazing flavor, and food that feels authentic and made with love. I’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for delicious West African food in Romeoville!

Great flavor! The fufu was smooth, and there was a good amount of goat. The beef with the jollof was a little tough, but the flavor was good and the jollof was fantastic! Great portions, I had some left over to eat for lunch another day.

Everything was really good. The only thing I didn't like was the goat meat was kind of dry and didn't have any seasoning in the dish also was kind of dry and no seasoning but everything else was delicious. Oh yeah, one thing they ran out of Fofo so I really couldn't get what I wanted, which was a goosy, but this is probably some of the best African food I have had on DoorDash.
