SSSHHH ! Bagels by the Book is a Gem.. Don't Tell Anyone ! LOL. Actual Bagels by the Book is the best breakfast bargain in Libertyville in terms of value for the dollar. Freshest is Bestest. The argula is so tasty and aromatic, and they don't skimp on the avocado!. So much more than bagels . The muffins are bountiful and so moist !

Everything came out so fresh & perfect! The egg sandwich was full of flavor with the Asiago bagel & garlic aioli. I added some of the Jalapeño Cream Cheese with it. So yummy! But seriously--these bagels are amazing!! I got half a dozen for the week--they are huge and will be great for breakfast and lunch! I was realed in by how fresh everything looked on doordash, and honestly I was not disappointed one bit! The Salted Maple Cold Foam Cold Brew was also delicious! It was very light, yet still rich in coffee and maple flavor! You can tell everything was made with a lot of care & love. I will be back!

I have been going to bagels by the book since I was a child (im 37 now.) and its just as good as it was back then. I currently live right up the road so the convenience is great but I used to live in waukegan and would leave early JUST to get bagels by the book before work.their whole menu is delicious!!! but my goto is the cheddar cheese bagel with regular ceam cheese and their potatoes are chefs kiss too!! not to mention dining in, there is a private(ish) area to sit and socialize in which is always nice. love bagels by the book, 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

This was sooo delicious! I got a sausage egg and chee sandwich and it was so fresh! I added a hash brown and it was crispy and perfect. My mom got the Monte Cristo and it was also sooo good. She loved it! We shred a pb&j cuz why not and it was also so yummy! Bagels were perfect.

Normally I order from here and never have any problems, their bagels and spreads are amazing. I regularly order their cold brew because it's Tala's cold brew but today's Salted Maple Cold Foam Cold Brew was very disappointing and it didn't come with cold foam. It honestly tasted like it's a generic iced coffee and not Tala's cold brew at all.
