My family and I enjoy this restaurant quite a bit! Yummy food, great large portion sizes, and high quality ingredients.
The sauce on the 9. Garlic Green Beans was superb, great balance of saltiness and garlic without being too oily or drowning the green beans.
The Pad See Ew was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful, thick noodles with great flavor. There wasn't a ton of sauce poured over it, so you could tell the noodles and meat had been cooked in the sauce and flavorings and that it hadn't just been poured over afterwards. Some of the best Pad See Ew I've ever had.
The 2. Wonderful Garlic was pretty good too! The chicken was a little dry but there was plenty of sauce so it was ok :)
The four dollar side of Steam Vegetable was great as well! Nothing special, just plain steamed veggies, but I'm mentioning it because for only an extra four bucks, it was an entire large container of veggies. Super great portion for the price, well-cooked but not soggy, and had a nice variation of vegetables. One of the best things about this restaurant is they give high-quality large quantities of food for super good prices, and they put effort into making every item (even small basic side dishes) being great.
The 5. Pho beef vietnamese was yummy as well! My little sister has a very low spice tolerance and was nervous to order from a new place, but she loved it. Good cut of beef, not too fatty or gristly. They did a great job making it not too spicy!
We were a little bummed out by the 1. PadThai, as there wasn't much flavor in the sauce or chicken. Was still yummy and high-quality food, but the taste was underwhelming, bland, and disappointing compared to the rest of the dishes.
Everything else was perfect, though, and one mediocre dish + a ton of other amazing ones is pretty awesome overall :) We still ate and enjoyed the Pad Thai, just wasn't as good as the rest. I'd give them a 4.5 if I could, but they're definitely closer to 5/5 than they are to 4/5.
Overall a great pick for a Saturday night dinner! We've eaten in person here a couple times before (amazing service, btw), but this was our first time getting takeout or DoorDash from them. Will definitely be ordering from them again in the future! :)
